Red Map Vienna covers the historic Innere Stadt (Central Vienna) west to Schloss Schonebrunn. In between are the cultural and shopping areas of Mariahilf, Neubau, Josefstadt, the Museums Quarter, the Augarten, and the Prater.

There are many attractions to see in Vienna, Austria. Vienna is home to three spectacular palaces. The first palace is Hofburg, the former Imperial Palace in the center of the city. Hofburg Imperial Palace is the official seat of the President of Austria.

The second palace is the elegant Belvedere, a historic building complex in the city of Vienna built during a period of economic prosperity. The third palace is the vast Schloss Schonebrunn (summer home of Empress Maria Theresa and her daughter Marie Antoinette).

The world-famous Liechtenstein Collection is here and is not to be missed, as are the treasures of the incredible Kunstmuseum. Make time for the Leopold Museum's collection of the brilliant artist, Egon Schiele. Tour the Spanish Riding School, home to the famous white dancing horses, and this being Vienna, book tickets to an opera before you go. There are three important theatres for the art form, the Wiener Staatsoper, the Academie and the Burg-theatre. Three churches to see include the austere Minoritenkirche, Karl-kirche with its elaborate frescoed dome, and Vienna's main cathedral, St. Stephansdom. Austria is known for its old-world craftsmanship, and the Red Map provides you with approximately 200 of Vienna's best boutiques and antique stores.
