Near the Duomo is the Baptistry with Lorenzo Ghiberti's famous bronze doors. The merchant princes' of Florence left us the beautiful Palazzo Medici and Strozzi. If you have time, be sure to attend a concert at the Parco della Musica Opera di Firenze (Florence's new opera house).
